- Held first Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors/
Advisory Board, January 17, 2008 in conjunction with the
International Sea Turtle Conference.
- Undertake research to support potential expansion of
Loreto Marine Park in collaboration with Laura
Escobosa, SIO (Spring/Winter 2008).
- Secure small planning grant to position Eco-Alianza de
Loreto for consideration as a future member of the
Waterkeeper Alliance (www.waterkeeper.org) and
undertake work in preparation for proposal submission as
the Loreto Coastkeeper. (Deadline: July 2008).
- Undertake the Public Consultation of the Manifest of
Environmental Impact (MIA) for the project Loreto
Paraiso (San Bruno) in partnership with CEMDA (Mexican
Center for Environmental Law).
- Celebrate Earth Day, April 22, 2008 - Sunday, April 20.
